P&A Group Prize
Introductory Credit Management
Winner: Roy Daniel
Roy attended evening classes tutored by Mary Delahunty at Centrica, in Leicester. He has worked for British Gas for three years and at the time of his examination success was a member of the company's warrants team.
Coface UK Prize
Accounting
Winner: Daniela Caruana
Daniela is employed as a credit controller by the lntercomp Group of Companies in Malta. Here she is responsible for the overall running of the credit management function. Daniela chose to study her ICM examinations through the Malta Association of Credit Management.

Joint winner: Rosana Marks
Rosana Marks graduated from Thames Valley University with a BA Honours degree in European Business Studies. After working as an accounting coordinator in the hotel industry, Rosana spent six years as a European Credit Supervisor for a container shipping company. She now works for Navman Europe. Rosana joined the Institute in 2006 and studied Business Law at London Metropolitan University. Rosana says "it was hard work but worth it!"
Joint winner: Melanie Zimmer-Rouse
After moving from Germany to the UK, Melanie Zimmer-Rouse started her career in credit in 2002 with Russ Berrie (UK) Ltd, an international plush and giftware distributor, where she supervises the credit department.
Melanie concluded the Certificate level in January 2007 with the Business Law examination.
Joint winner: Imelda Jervin
Imelda works for Harley Davidson Europe, where she started work by compiling reports and processing financial accounts. She was trained 'in-house' in wholesale credit analysis to be promoted to the role of underwriter, Imelda studied at home using the ICM Learning Support Service.
Moore Stephens Prize

Winner: Karen Boden
Karen currently undertakes the role of UK Credit Risk Co-ordinator, including UK Group Credit Risk, for the distribution companies of Specialist Computer Holdings.
Karen studied for her examinations through unsupported home study.
Equifax Prize
Advanced Credit Management
Joint winner: Cynthia Williams
Cynthia is now assistant to the Managing Director of Kinleigh Folkard & Hayward, a firm of estate agents dealing in sales, lettings, surveys, financial services and management. In her previous role as client liaison manager, she worked with all divisions of the company. She started dealing with the firm's bad debts as a sideline, but as the company has grown so too has the role, resulting in promotion and increased resource.
Joint winner: Andrew Grainger
At the time of his examination success, Andrew was a Treasury Analyst with Fidelity International, having previously held positions with American Express, BT and IBM. He is a law graduate and a competent linguist who is also working his way to the Association of Corporate Treasurer's AMCT qualification via home study.

Credit Management Law
Winner: Sally Rutherford
Since being employed with Richmondshire District Council, Sally has worked in a variety of roles including debt recovery and litigation. She is currently responsible for front line collections through to litigation of all of the Council's sundry debts, working alongside the authority's external solicitors.
Sally has been sponsored by her employer in her studies and is now studying towards her Diploma using the ICM's Learning Support Service. Sally thanks her course tutor, Tim Wilshire, for all his help and encouragement.

PricewaterhouseCoopers Prize
Practical Credit Management Project
Winner: Holly Jannaway
Holly is a credit manager at Dairy Crest Foods, managing a team of 19 credit controllers and a debtor book of £1.4bn. Prior to Dairy Crest, she spent nearly ten years with GlaxoSmithKline as a customer service manager in two areas; supply chain and sales ledger/credit management.
Holly used the ICM Learning Support Service. She says: "This is a great way of studying as it gave the flexibility to fit around my busy lifestyle." Holly thanks her assigned tutor, Judith Proctor, for her excellent support.

Sir Roger Cork Prize
Highest aggregate examination marks 2007
Winner: Graham Williams
After 18 years in banking Graham joined Lombard North Central (part of the RBS Group) seven years ago to work in its debt recovery department.
Graham says that the flexibility offered by the ICM Distance Learning Programme was important to him, and that his studies have increased his technical knowledge and his self-confidence.
Our sincere congratulations go to Graham, who during the course of the 2007 programme picked up no less than three prizes in his examinations, the marks for which contribute to his fourth success, the Sir Roger Cork Prize.
