Dover Chemical acquires Pioneer Companies, Inc.

Dover, Ohio-based, Dover Chemical Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of ICC Industries, Inc., recently acquired Cornwall, Ontario-based, Pioneer Companies, Inc. (PCI), Chemicals Canada Co.'s chlorinated paraffins business.
Dover Chemical will operate the business from its two existing plants in Dover and Hammond, Ind.
Terms of the agreement were not announced.
Dover Chemical is a global leader in lubricant and plastic additives and other specialty chemicals.
