Solenoid valves

The temperature range of0 -10° to 137°C (14° to 280°F) is suitable for neutral media, such as compressed air, inert gases, water, and synthetic oils. Electrical connection options are a 1/2-in. conduit plug or strain relief connector. The series also has normally open or normally closed valves, 120 V ac standard, with optional dc coils. Chemical process pumps
FLOWSERVE CORP.. DALLAS. TEXAS. The CPX ISO 5199 and the Mark 3 ANSI B73.1 chemical process pumps are both ATEX-compliant. The CPX and the Mark 3 provide performance and reliability for a range of applications, such as chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, pulp and paper, seawater, mining, primary metals, and water and wastewater treatment, according to the company. Available in a range of configurations, including mechanically sealed, dynamically sealed, low-flow, self-priming, vertical-sump and recessed-impeller versions, the Flowserve family of CPX/ Mark 3 chemical process pumps operates in flows up to 1,680 m^sup 3^/h (7,400 gpm), heads to 300 m (1,000 ft.), pressures to 30 bar (450 psi), and temperatures from -80°C (-110° F) to 370°C (700° F). The CPX comes in 40 sizes. Pump material options range from ductile iron to titanium. The CPX offers a unique, semi-open stainless steel duplex impeller, which is standard across all configurations and sizes.

Pipe lasers
HlLTl INC.. TULSA. OKLA. For precise sloped pipe applications, the Hilti PP 10 and PP 11 pipe lasers provide fast and accurate positioning and alignment of pipe segments. Waterproof up to 16 feet for as long as 24 hours, the PP 10 and PP 11 can withstand extreme weather conditions and outlast the toughest jobsite conditions. Equipped with a highpowered red or green laser beam, the PP 10 and PP 11 pipe lasers can be remotely operated up to 610 feet away from the tool. Both tools can be mounted inside or on top of a pipe, on a tripod or in a manhole. The pipe lasers come standard with a rechargeable battery pack that can be charged from an outlet or from a car battery with an optional cable, or can be operated using four D cell alkaline batteries. The PP 11 green laser includes an auto alignment function for making beam alignment faster and easier.

Electromechanical actuator

The industrial-duty TracMaster electromechanical linear actuator is suitable in demanding applications for load capacities up to 500 lbs., which exceeds competitive offerings for durability, according to the company. Load-dependent travel speeds are available up to 143 in. per minute. Standard stroke lengths range from 3 to 18 in., although custom lengths can be accommodated. Load ratings are the same for both tension and compression applications. The TracMaster actuator has an aluminum housing outer tube and a plated inner translating tube with double clevis ends. The model also features dual adjustable internal limit switches with potentiometers or a load limiting clutch; ac or dc motors come with thermal overload protection, which resets automatically. The drive system uses double lead acme screws, which aid the actuator's speed and long life.
