World Bank appointments

Cameroon-born Eric Chinje has returned to Washington to manage the external affairs unit of the Africa Region Vice-Presidency of the World Bank. This follows four years at the African Development Bank as its communications director. In February 2008, Justin Yifu Lin was appointed chief economist and senior vice-president for development economics by President Robert Zoellick.
Lin is a Chinese national, and currently professor and founding director of the China Centre for Economic Research at Peking University.
