CUES offers the Advanced Leadership Institute in partnership with the California/Nevada Credit Union League at the Harvard Business School in Boston. Using case studies as the primary learning tool, Harvard participants explore keys issues like strategic positioning, organizational change, marketing innovation and the service value chain.

CUES' three-part CEO Institute curriculum was developed to take executives through the full spectrum of leadership preparation, starting with a broad industry view, narrowing to the organizational level and concluding with personal skills.

CEO Institute I: Strategic Planning is held at the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School, Philadelphia. CEO Institute II: Organizational Effectiveness is hosted by the Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University, Ithaca, N.Y. CEO Institute III: Strategic Leadership Development is held at the University of Virginia's Darden Graduate School of Business Administration, Charlottesville, Va.
