Hart Associates acquires video production company

Hart Associates has acquired a Toledo-based video production company to expand its video production staff and capabilities for clients, according to Michael K. Hart, president.

The former Jakes VanHoven Productions, a video production company that has done work or clients such as Owens-Illinois, Inc. and its affiliates, the Toledo Engineering Corporation and Calphalon Corporation, has been incorporated into Hart Associates,

As part of the acquisition, David Jakes joins Hart Associates' video production department as Senior Producer/Editor.

"As technology continues to change the face of marketing communications, video and multimedia will become an even more important marketing tactic in future years. Hart Associates will be prepared for these changes," Hart said.

In addition, the acquisition makes Hart Associates the first Northwest Ohio video production facility to house three post- production editing suites. The three suites give Hart Associates the flexibility and speed to better serve its video and multimedia clients.
