BioLab selects McMillan as leader of Adrian, MI plant

BioLab Inc., an international provider of water treatment products for industrial and consumer markets, selected Scott McMillan as the company's plant manager for their Adrian, Michigan facility. The BioLab Adrian plant is a manufacturing site for BCDMH, a pool and spa disinfecting agent, and other pool and spa chemicals. McMillan will oversee all operations for the site.
"We're really pleased to add Scott's depth of knowledge in the powder coatings industry to our Adrian plant," explained John Trouts, vice president of manufacturing. "His experience is a great complement to the team we've assembled there."

McMillan most recently served as plant manager with Akzo Nobel Industrial Coatings in Houston, Texas. Prior to Akzo, McMillan held positions with Herberts Powder Coatings in Ohio and Alabama. Both companies are manufacturers of powder coatings for industrial applications.
A native of Toronto, McMillan received his Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering from the University of Toronto.
Based in Decatur, Georgia, BioLab Inc. supplies industrial water treatment chemicals, and swimming pool and spa products on a global basis. BioLab is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Great Lakes Chemical Corp., a producer of certain specialty chemicals for such applications as flame retardants, polymer stabilizers, fire suppression, water treatment and petroleum additives.
