MOVERS & SHAKERS: SUMMA HEALTH SYSTEM

Summa Health System named Sharon Fortunato director of Summa's Center for Corporate Health. She will be responsible for assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of the delivery of patient care at the center.
The center provides a variety of occupational health services for employers in the community as well as health operations for Summa Health System employees. Its goal is to provide companies a cost-effective preventive maintenance program, immediate treatment for injuries and illness, and rehabilitation programs to help injured employees return to work quickly.
Fortunato began her career at Summa as a staff nurse in 1984. In 1986, she became manager of Occupational Health Services at Summa. She left the company in 2000, but was recruited back in 2002.
