Informed Medical Communications (IMC), an interactive medical information service company, has named PDI's former president Steven Budd its new CEO. Budd replaces former IMC CEO Thomas Patton who will remain with the company as chairman of the board.

Lois Smith has joined MediZine as VP of sales and marketing. Prior to joining MediZine, Smith served as account manager, Thomson/PDR.

RTC Relationship Marketing (RTCRM), a direct marketing agency, has hired Brad Blackmon as VP/account director. Mark Adams joins as VP/associate director, strategy & insights. Carol Freed comes aboard as VP/director, marketing services. RTCRM also hired Dawn Panzeca as VP/creative director and Meaghan Shawcross as SVP/group account director managing all pharmaceutical accounts for the agency's New York office.

inVentiv Commercial announced a realignment of its business into two divisions-inVentiv Strategy & Analytics and inVentiv Selling Solutions. Jeffrey Thomas has been promoted to president of inVentiv Strategy & Analytics and Paul Mignon (pictured) to president of inVentiv Selling Solutions.
