Kentucky First Federal Bancorp Officers Presided over Close of NASDAQ Trading

Kentucky First Federal Bancorp of Hazard presided over NASDAQ's trading closing ceremonies in New York on April 15, 2005. The event was televised live on CNBC.

Kentucky First Federal Chairman and CEO Tony Whitaker, President Don Jennings and CFO Clay Hulette celebrated the company's initial public offering and merger with Frankfort First Bancorp, Inc. They were joined by their investment banker, Capital Resources Group Chairman and CEO David Rochester.

"We are honored to be celebrating our merger and becoming a public company with NASDAQ officials in New York," said Whitaker. "This is an exciting day for us and all of our new shareholders."

Jennings said: "We have an exciting future as a new stock company trading on NASDAQ. Our former company that merged with Kentucky First enjoyed almost 10 years on NASDAQ. We will continue our focus of enhancing shareholder value."
