Citizens Union Bank Awarded Money for Housing Projects

The Federal Home Loan Bank of Cincinnati (FHLB) has awarded Citizens Union Bank, Shelbyville, a $1,770,000 advance for the St. Columbia Senior Apartments Project sponsored by the housing partnership, a $600,000 advance for the Lee Square Development Project sponsored by Socayr Property Management and a $430,000 advance for the Harvesting Hope Project sponsored by the Housing Partnership.

These affordable housing program funds are made available by FHLB to assist lenders in creating affordable housing within the local communities in which they serve, to help meet the needs of low- to moderate-income persons.
