Haldex Brake Systems now has a full selection of trailer ABS retrofit kits available. Designed for easy field installation and configured for 2S/iM to 4S/2M applications based on Haldexi unique Full Function ABS (FFABS) platform. All Haldex Trailer ABS kits are 100% PLC4Trucks compliant and meet March 1, 2001 FMVSS 121 standards. These kits allow customers to take advantage of the benefits of ABS with a full range of cost effective ABS systems.
Haldex offers these kits in three versions to satisfy customer needs. Full Trailer ABS Kits come complete with all necessary components, and Condensed Trailer ABS Kits are for customers that utilize ABS ready axles. The Essential Trailer Kits are designed for new trailer applications where the manufacturer supplies many peripheral items.
