Fleet Equipment, Sep 2004

Great Dane Trailers announces that 100 new production jobs will be added at its Brazil, Ind. manufacturing site in the coming weeks. In response to increased demand, Great Dane expects to boost output of dry freight van trailers in Brazil to 250 per week, dictating the payroll expansion.

Bernie Buttram, plant manager at the Brazil manufacturing facility reports, "Trailer orders are strong, especially in the dry van product line. In manufacturing, and particularly in the trailer business, employees are our greatest asset so we are confident in adding to our workforce at this time."
