Japan's Shuttleless Loom Exports Fell in Q1

Japan's exports of shuttleless looms amounted to 4,607 units worth 17,945.5 million yen, which are decreases of 9.0% in number and 3.2% in value from the same quarter of 2007.
Exports to China decreased by 3.7% in volume to 3,181, but rose by 2.7% in value to 12,474.5 million yen. Exports to India also fell by 19.5% in number to 277, while the value grew by 0.7% to 1,544.8 million yen.
