ClearWiki
A free and simple private hosted wiki. Also includes full text search, blogs, RSS, 'To do' lists, discussion, metatagging and versioning of content and files.
Confluence
Created by software company Atlassian, Confluence is an enterprise wiki designed to make it easy for corporate teams to collaborate and share knowledge.
Media Wiki
A free wiki package, based on open source software principles; that is, there are no costs for licensing the technology. This is the tool that is used to run the world's most famous wiki, Wikipedia.
Socialtext
Claims to be "the world's leading enterprise wiki", used by 3,000 customers worldwide. Highly rated by influential IT research firm, Gartner.
Zwiki
Also free software, licensed under open source principles.
