Iowa Mold Tooling Co. introduced a hydraulic crane and air compressor option for use on the Dodge Ram 3500,4500 and 550 and the Sterling Bullet chassis.
Customers were limited to electric cranes with the Dodge Ram or Sterling Bullet because of the chassis wiring system, said Tim Worman, IMT product manager of commercial vehicles, in a release.
"The electrical integration with the Dodge Ram and Sterling Bullet chassis did not allow for simple operation of high-idle or remote start/stop," Worman pointed out. "Now we can easily integrate engine high-idle operation and remote start/stop for use with the hydraulic cranes and air compressors." For more information, go to www.imt.com.
