SAICA to launch a world class membership management system

On 1 June, 2007, the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA) will launch a new membership management system called iMIS.
iMIS is extensively used, and highly recommended by a number of professional institutes around the world.
iMIS advocates the philosophy of customer satisfaction whilst incorporating best practice processes and controls, which ensures completeness and accuracy of recorded revenue in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
iMis customer-focused features will facilitate a more professional service to SAICA members through speedier access to the following:
* Members will be able to sign up for events and seminars via this system and invoices will automatically be generated as per signup. Companies are also able to make multiple bookings using this system.
* Increased accuracy of information offered on transactions completed.
* Purchasing products and services.
Because iMis manages all customer interaction, SAICA will have access to valuable information pertaining to customer segmentation which will allow SAICA to be able to tailor its marketing and communications activity based on trends gathered from members.
The system will also record member hits on the website, including the links followed, areas within the site that have been visited, time spent on the site and more. Again this will allow SAICA to tailor the website and other communication activities to member needs and interests. Through this world-class system, SAICA will continue to provide improved services to its valued members.
