Lafarge cement appoints Burley to develop supply service to customers

Lafarge Cement UK has appointed Dave Burley (pictured) as Supply and Distribution Director, in a move designed to support the drive for improved customer orientation. In his new role, Dave will be chiefly responsible for managing Lafarge Cement's supply chain, focussed on identifying means to provide an increasingly reliable and more efficient delivery process to its customers and end-users.
The move highlights Lafarge Cement's commitment to improving the quality of its supply chain - both to meet the needs of customers and the environmental, industry-wide need for more sustainable operations.
