Donald Baker Smith Jr., 85, retired president, CEO and chairman of the board of Central Bank, Russiaville, died Oct. 21. He began his banking career at the age of 14 at First National Bank of Mishawaka. An Army Air Corps veteran of World War II, Smith attended Purdue University was graduated from the University of Missouri. He was a member of the IBA Forty Year Club.
