DEATH OF THE BOOK

The death of the book has often been predicted, but no event has come close to heralding an end to paper literature than Amazon's wireless reading device, the Kindle. The device makes it possible for an entire library to be carried on an object the size of a paperback. Students will no longer have to carry back-breaking bags and the same goes for professionals. Legislation and other compliance material will become portable and much cheaper and greener. Some will claim to miss the feel and smell of paper, so there will always be a place for paper literature in some form or another.
