Former BBC executive heads for LINE

LINE Communications has appointed former BBC executive Gareth Jones as Lead Consultant. Jones will be responsible for helping clients deliver business-focused results on their learning strategies.

The former Head of Strategy and Operations for BBC Training and Development, Jones has over 15 years' experience in public and private sector organisations. He has worked with UNE as a learning consultant since 2006, working on projects for the British Standards Institute, the Home Office, Jaguar Land Rover and the Chartered Management Institute.

As a former head of one of the country's largest training organisations, Jones brings a wealth of experience around the development of training strategies, evaluation, change management and the development of corporate learning systems. He and his teams have been recognised with a number of national and international awards, including acknowledgment as one of Europe's Most Admired Knowledge Enterprises, Best Corporate Intranet in the UK and Best Transformation of an HR Function using IT.

Jones will continue his work focusing on the development and implementation of new approaches to learning to improve organisational efficiencies and competitiveness.

Intellego announce significant shareholding

In December 2007 Charles Denton acquired 1,000.000 ordinary shares of Intellego, and now holds 24,569.127 ordinary shares, representing a holding of 23.82% of the company's issued share capital.
