Deaths: Harry Samuel Scaling

Harry Samuel Scaling, 72, died July 15, 2008.
Scaling was born Nov. 13, 1935, to Charles and Martha Scaling.
In addition to TSCRA, Harry was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Fort Worth, the Steeplechase Club, Red Raider Club and River Crest Country Club.
He graduated from Texas Tech University, where he lettered in basketball, even scoring the winning goal the first time Tech won the Southwest Conference basketball trophy.
He owned and operated Scaling V. Ranch, and was particularly interested and involved in the exploration and development of oil and gas interests.
He is survived by two nephews, three nieces and their families.
