THE ANT IS RECRUITING NEW MEMBERS

The ANT was born out of the fusion in 2006 of three Canadian textile associations: the Association canathenne des coloristes et chimistes du textile (ACCCT)1 the Socit des diplms en textile (SDT) and the Association des textiles des Cantons de l'Est (ATCE). It brings together Canadian textile industry stakeholders with a special commitment to their sector.

The ANT's first mandates will be to take part in the training of textile industry resource people and promote Canadian companies at events such as industry visits, technical conferences and social activities. The ANT offers numerous advantages to its members, including visibility for the companies they represent, promotion of their respective industry sectors and an extended contact network.

At its last general assembly, the ANT gave itself the mandate to revamp its image and structure. The board of directors decided, jointly with members, to make its organization's rules and membership costs more flexible. For more information on the numerous benefits the ANT affords, contact members of the recruiting committee at the following addresses: Rosette Laberge (rlaberge@csmotextile.qc.ca); Linda Cyrenne (lcyrenne@csmotextile.qc.ca); Michel Daigneault (michel.daigneault@star-na.com).
