BURLINGTON

Rexcon LLC will move from Milwaukee to a new 100,000-sq.-ft. plant it is building in the Burlington Manufacturing and Office Park sometime in 2008. The maker of roadbuilding equipment will employ between 90 and 95 workers.

ELM GROVE

Torke Worth Pujara Ltd., an architectural, interior design and engineering firm has changed its name to TWP Architecture and launched a new image campaign to include a new logo while maintaining the initials of its founding partners.

MENOMONEE FALLS

Kohl's Department Stores is seeking to certify more than 80 new locations in 28 states under the U.S. Green Building Council's LEED program. The company expects to continue opening LEED-certified stores well into 2009.

MILWAUKEE

Developer Ghazi Co. of Charlotte, N.C. has moved closer to building a $200 million, 31story hotel across from the Wisconsin Center convention facility. The city has agreed to establish a TIF district to partially fund the multi-use facility that will include retail, condos, restaurants and night clubs. Ghazi has a contract to buy a 2-acre parking lot along Wisconsin Avenue from the city for $1.

Infinity HealthCare will move its headquarters from Mequon to the Chase Tower in downtown Milwaukee near March 1. The move will bring about 150 employees to 62,000-sq.-ft. in the tower. The company is a medical practice management consulting firm.

Metavante, a former division of Marshall & Ilsley Corp., has been spun off to form Metavante Technologies Inc. The company has also named the following 10 people to its board of directors: Dennis Keuster (chairman); David Coulter; L. Dale Crandall; Michael Hayford; Stephan James; Ted Kellner, Frank Martire; Dianne Neal; James Neary; and Ardash Sarma.

Readers of Conde Nast Traveler magazine have named General Mitchell International Airport the fourth-best airport in the country. This moves the airport from fifth in last year's ranking. Location, access and design were cited by the magazine as reasons for the high ranking.

Community Care has received a $44.5 million contract from the state to run Medicaidfunded long-term care services in Ozaukee, Sheboygan, Washington and Waukesha counties in 2008. The services will be offered through Family Care and Family Care Partnership divisions.

Baird will expand its Public Finance group by opening an office and adding a team in Nashville. The company has added Kevin Barnett as director and Lorrie Nelson as assistant vice president. The office will provide a variety of debt services to municipalities, counties and school districts.

Baird Capital Partners, a buyout fund of Baird Private Equity has divested its interest in TrialGraphix Inc., selling it to Krol Inc., a unit of insurance and professional services giant Marsh & McLennan Companies Inc.

Marcus Theatres Corp. has entered into an agreement with National CineMedia to book events into 21 Marcus Theatres in Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Chicago, Columbus, Ohio and Fargo, North Dakota. The opening event will be a pre-recorded presentation of "The Metropolitan Opera: Live in HD."

Engberg Anderson Design Partnership Inc. has opened an architecture and design office in Tucson, Arizona. Partner William Williams will lead the new office.

Foley & Lardner LLP has made the Information Wfeefc500 list of innovative information technology organizations. The Chicago-based law firm, has offices in Milwaukee and Madison. The firm was honored for the software produced to serve its clients, including its Private Equity Matchmaker. The company was named to the CIO 100 from CIO magazine earlier this year.

MEQUON

Reinhart Partners will expand its offices for its 23 employees. The investment advisory firm manages about $2 billion in assets for institutional and high net-worth investors.

ROCHESTER

Runzheimer International's Customer Service Call Center here has been recognized as a Certified Center of Excellence by BenchmarkPortal and the Center for Customer-Driven Quality at Purdue University.

WAUKESHA

RedPrairie Corp. has expanded its office in Shanghai, China. The office now employs 88 and the expansion is needed to accommodate the growing staff, which will now be located on a single floor.

STATEWIDE DEVELOPMENTS

NORTHWEST

CENTRAL WISCONSIN: We Energies has proposed a $200 million wind farm that would generate 100 megawatts of electricity. The wind farm will consist of between 50 and 65 turbines. No details or an exact location was released by the utility, other than it will be sited in Central Wisconsin.

NORTH CENTRAL: Green Bay-based Arise Health Plan has expanded its coverage area to the counties of Wood, Portage, Marathon, Taylor, Lincoln, Langlade, Oneida and Vilas. The health insurance company offers health insurance for individuals as well as small groups and consumer-directed plans.

EAU CLAIRE: The state has released $26,315 to help with construction of a $1.05 million project to design an addition to the terminal building and make airside improvements at the Chippewa Valley Regional Airport. Eau Claire County will contribute $26,316 and the FAA will contribute $1 million.
