Col. Bradley K. Ashley, USAF * Oklahoma City Chapter

Col. Bradley K. Ashley, USAF, is vice commander of the Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center, Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma, the largest of the three Air Logistics Centers in the Air Force Materiel Command. The Oklahoma center provides a wide range of depot maintenance, weapons system management and acquisition management, as well as most of the Air Force's commercial derivative aircraft including Air Force One. Col. Ashley recently was selected as the new Air Mobility Command senior communicator.

Col. Ashley currently leads the Oklahoma City Chapter as its president. He has served in a wide variety of roles for AFCEA chapters worldwide, including scholarship chairman, publicity chairman, science fair coordinator, Young AFCEAN adviser, International Young AFCEAN Advisory Council member and chapter vice president.

Col. Ashley has rejuvenated the local Oklahoma City Chapter by hosting a job fair and a tech expo with more than 40 vendors that raised $4,500 for scholarships. He also has helped provide the chapter with a diverse selection of experts from government, military and academia as monthly luncheon guest speakers. The chapter has raised thousands of dollars for local scholarships, shattering its annual goals and continuing to grow and make significant contributions to the region.

Fellow chapter members relate that Col. Ashley has provided outstanding leadership and dedication to the chapter, raising its profile and achievements to new heights. AFCEA is pleased to award the AFCEAN of the Month honor to Col. Bradley K. Ashley, USAF, for his commitment to the Oklahoma City Chapter and to the association.
