1986-7: Scores four goals in 27 starts as Wimbledon stagger the critics by finishing sixth in the table in their first season in the top flight.
1988: Plays in Wimbledon's amazing 1-0 FA Cup Final triumph over Liverpool at Wembley.
1989-90: In the front line and has a prominent 'role' in an infamous 19-man brawl in a League Cup-tie against West Ham.
1990-91: Signs for Chelsea and scores 13 goals in 44 games in that first season but serves two spells of suspension.
1992-93: Begins the campaign with a left-over three-match suspension for reaching 41 points.
1993-94: Chelsea boss Glenn Hoddle stops just short of taking the team captaincy away from Wise after he is dismissed against West Ham.

1994-95: Hoddle strips Wise of the captaincy after he is sent off for "foul and abusive language" at Newcastle.
Venables is forced to drop him from the England squad as Wise is jailed for three months for assault on a taxi driver although he later wins an appeal against a custodial sentence.
1996: Terry Venables leaves him out of England's Euro 96 squad and international career is seemingly ended by Hoddle.
