Now in its second year, the journalism and photography strand of T Break aims to discover the freshest new creative talent. Prospective hacks and snappers were invited to enter a 500-word gig review or a series of band photographs.
From the dozens of entries, the judges selected eight finalists in each category.
They will each attend a T Break showcase and report back, after which a final winner in each category will be assigned to cover the T Break stage at T in the Park. Their words and pictures will be published exclusively in the Sunday Herald on July 18.
