And if they complain? Well, let their constituents hear the complaints in public meetings.

A parliament free of those who have been shown to have no sense of basic financial morality has to be the immediate objective of any clean-up. The grander redesigns should wait, because if we water down our attention and lose sight of the culprits - the con men and women, the greedy - then we will waste this opportunity of telling future generations of MPs just what we want and expect from them.
