won the third leg of the Mallorca tour as Spain's Jose Luis Rebollo took the overall lead. Moller covered the 142.2 kilometers in a time of 3hr 33min 28 sec. Finishing second and with the same time was the Spaniard Francisco Cabello of the Kelme Costa Blanca team. Rebollo of ONCE-Deutsche Bank came in with the pack 21 seconds later. In the descent of the Puig Mayor mountain, the last of three climbs and located 17 kilometers from the finish line, Cabello and Moller broke away with the former in the lead, but Moller won in a sprint finish.
