> RYANAIR, EUROPE'S biggest budget airline, announced a 19 per cent rise in annual pre-tax profit yesterday and said it was set to resume strong passenger growth. "We have every reason to be confident that our target of seven million passengers this year can be achieved," Ryanair said. The Dublin-based carrier said pre-tax profit rose to a record 90.1m euros (pounds 57.4m) in the year to 31 March.
