Stockton puts herself in sight of dressage win
Independent, The (London), Sep 7, 2007
--equestrianism Polly Stockton, who wasrunner-up at Burghley on Sunday with Tom Quigley, showed continuing good form by holding the lead after yesterday's first day of dressage at the Blenheim International Horse Trials. This time she is riding Anne Henson's Regulus, who was also in the lead after the dressage phase at Pau in France last year before eventually finishing fourth. Stockton, the winner at Blenheim in 1998, which was her last major victory, holds the advantage over Jo Aston on the homebred Southern Rumour and Andrew Nicholson, the New Zealand rider, on Armada.
