*New York Michael Jackson has refinanced his Neverland ranch in California, averting a public auction sale that was scheduled for later this month. Jackson's lawyer, L Londell McMillan said the pop star had reached a "confidential" agreement with Fortress Investment Group LLC. Jackson has not lived at Neverland, in Santa Barbara County, since his acquittal on child molestation charges in 2005.
