CHAMPIONSHIP

Independent, The (London),  Apr 8, 2008

*PLYMOUTH ARGYLE Defender Marcel Seip has been placed on the transfer list and fined a fortnight's wages after refusing to be a substitute for Saturday's match against Charlton. "I am fining Marcel because of his actions," manager Paul Sturrock said of the Dutchman (right). "It is appropriate to put him on the transfer list as well. I also feel now is the time for Marcel to get his hernia problem fixed."

*SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY Adam Bolder has had his loan spell from Queen's Park Rangers extended until the end of the season. The 27- year-old has made eight appearances for the Owls since joining the club in February and could feature in tonight's Steel City derby.

*BARNSLEY Rob Kozluk has defended team-mate Kayode Odejayi over his second-half miss against Cardiff in Sunday's FA Cup semi-final defeat. "Chances fall to strikers and they're there to miss them as well as score," the defender said. "He's no villain. Hopefully he can take confidence into remaining matches."

*CHARLTON ATHLETIC Sam Sodje could miss the rest of the season after suffering a broken toe during the Addick's 2-1 victory at Plymouth on Saturday. "He's suffered ligament damage," manager Alan Pardew said. "That's probably the last we'll see of him this season."

*LEICESTER CITY The Foxes are to appeal against Patrick Kisnorbo's dismissal during the 3-0 defeat at Sheffield United last week. "If that decision stands," City manager Ian Holloway said. "I've got two wooden legs."
