*Four new investors have bought just over half of the London- based specialist investor Climate Change Capital (CCC) for 56m. CCC invests in projects to cut carbon emissions in the developing world, to accrue carbon offsets under a UN-led scheme, and has also branched out into broader low-carbon investing, consulting and advisory work. Its new investors - the blue-chip investment trust Alliance Trust, the Universities Superannuation Scheme pension fund, the Dutch bank SNS Reaal and the Japanese trading house Mitsui - will also put 20m into a new fund of funds run by CCC.
