Four groups vie for Sellafield clean-up deal

*The Nuclear Decommissioning Authority has shortlisted four consortiums for the 1bn contract to manage the Sellafield nuclear power station. The contract, which is to run the plant through to its decommissioning over the next 17 years, will be awarded next month to one of the four contenders: CH2MHill Nuclear Services; a partnership between Fluor Corp and Toshiba; SBB Nuclear, a group including Serco, Bechtel and Babcock & Wilcox; and Nuclear Management Partners, a consortium of Washington International Holdings, Amec Nuclear Holdings and Areva.
