Life for sale exceeds target

*PERTH A man who put his life up for sale on eBay to fund a new start after the break-up of his marriage has passed the target sum he set. Ian Usher, 44, right, a rug salesman in Western Australia, is selling his car, house, job, and even his friends, to the highest bidder. He was hoping to make A$500,000 (250,000), but bidding has exceeded this. Included are a three-bedroom house, a motorcycle, parachuting gear,a jet-ski, an introduction to his friends and a trial run at his job. Mr Usher separated from his wife a year ago and decided to auction his life after realising everything in it reminded him of her.
