Britain pick eight for Olympic ring

Independent, The (London),  Jun 26, 2008

Sport IN BRIEF

*BOXING Great Britain have named an eight-strong squad for the Beijing Games - an improvement on four years ago, when Amir Khan was the sole home representative, and the two fighters who reached Sydney in 2000. The world lightweight champion, Frankie Gavin, is likely to start as favourite in his division, while two others - light-welterweight Bradley Saunders and bantamweight Joe Murray are ranked in the world's top three.
