Seville remain open to new bid for Capel
Independent, The (London), Jul 17, 2008
SUMMER SALES Transfer news
*TOTTENHAM Diego Capel (right) admits he would consider leaving Seville to "grow as a footballer" if Spurs can agree a fee. Spurs were linked with a failed 12.5m offer for the 20-year-old winger last month, but the door appears to have been left open for another attempt. When asked whether he knew of Spurs' interest, Capel said: "[Tottenham manager Juande Ramos] didn't speak to me, he did with my agent I presume, yes."
