Hair withdraws his 'racial' claim

Darrell Hair, the Australian umpire, has withdrawn his claim of racial discrimination against the Pakistan Cricket Board, writes Stephen Brenkley. But he is understood to be pursuing a case of unfair dismissal by the International Cricket Council. Hair was sacked as an elite international umpire in the wake of the ball- tampering row last summer at The Oval.
