Scarborough 2 Orient 1

On-loan striker David Currie had a dream start to his day at the seaside netting a spectacular 15 yard drive for Scarborough.

But it was a game which could have seen a bevy of goals in the first half alone with Boro striker Steve Brodie going close three times and Jason Rockett having a superb chance well saved on the line.

Currie broke the deadlock two minutes into the restart finishing off a well-placed pass from Brodie. Then Brodie himself scored a well- deserved goal in the 74th minute with a short header.

Leyton's consolation came seconds from time with a 35-yard drive from Danny Chapman.
