EDDIE the Eagle Edwards was jumping for joy last night after gaining GCSEs in law, maths and physiology.
The 35-year-old ski jumper, famous for coming last at the 1988 Winter Olympics, scored Bs in law and maths and C in physiology.
He now intends to take an Open University law degree and become a solicitor.
Eddie, from Cheltenham, studied for the GCSEs by correspondence course.
It was the first time he had taken exams since leaving school.
