0 Comments | Sunday Mirror, May 14, 2000 | by RICHARD BARBER
THE former wife of legendary soccer star George Best has launched a blistering attack on a new film about the former Manchester United ace.
Stunning Angie Best said Northern Ireland-born actor John Lynch, who portrays Bestie, looked nothing like her former husband.
"My George was handsome. This guy has got a big nose and nothing else," she told the Sunday Mirror.
Angie, mother to Best's only son Calum, also slammed a scene showing one of his girlfriends trashing his apartment and shredding his clothes.
"I'd never do anything like that - no matter what happened to us."
And she revealed that she is still in love with the Belfast's golden boy of football.
