I WAS disgusted to learn that Health Minister Yvette Cooper is about to take her second term of maternity leave in two years.

Ms Cooper was elected to serve her constituents. She is not doing an ordinary, run-of-the-mill job where she won't be missed for six months. If she knew she was going to start a family she should have let someone else fight her seat.
