SOMETIMES when I look around at women in Dublin I feel that there is no other hair colour but blonde. It is extraordinary the numbers of women who have decided to go blonde.

Have you any idea how much it costs to keep hair blonde? Recently a woman told me that she sat for five hours in a chair in a hairdressing salon getting her roots done. That sounds like real torture, and it cost EUR180.

Who said blondes have more fun?

Mind you, having seen the latest photos of actress Kim Cattrall from Sex in the City in a dark wig, being blonde makes a huge difference to her - from sex kitten to frump via one dark wig.
