Guitarist and vocalist for the band Nic Cester says: "I haven't been to Northern Ireland before and am really looking forward to it. We aren't the type of band to play a gig and go hide in our hotel room. We like to chat to people. So this JD night will be great - mixing with the audience and hearing what they have to say."
The Melbourne-born four piece say they grew up 'on a strict diet of classic rock' and count the likes of The Kinks, AC/DC and The Who as some of their major influences. They took the rock world by storm with their debut single Take It or Leave It and cemented their place in the world of rock music when they were asked to support the Rolling Stones - another of their major influences - on the Australian leg of their world tour. The band have a brand new album due out in the Summer.
