TONIGHT, members of the academy, ladies and gentlemen, the winner of the Best Goodie Bag is...everyone!

The lucky actresses up for Oscar nominations tonight could each walk away with an astonishing pounds 38,000 worth of freebies.

All the nominees for Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress has been offered a goodie bag regardless of whether they win or not. And all are stuffed with thousands of pounds worth of jewellery, holidays, champagne and designer clothing.

The women - who include Best Actress nominees Brit Samantha Morton, Naomi Watts, Charlize Theron and Diane Keaton - can take as many of the goods on offer as they choose.

An Oscars insider said: "The goodie bags are generous each year but this is the most expensive yet. The nominees in the two female categories get a list of things on offer, and it's up to them which ones they take at the end of the night. If they were to choose everything on the list, it would come to around pounds 38,000 - which is a pretty big freebie."
