0 Comments | Sunday Mirror, Mar 14, 2004 | by Brian Twomey
FORD are unveiling the first fast Fiesta since the demise of the XR2i and RS1800 models a few years ago. Called the Fiesta ST, the latest fast Ford is hurled along by a 150PS (148Bhp) 2.0 Duratec engine. Ford sees the ST moniker as being the new millennium equivalent of the XR badge in the 1980's.
The ST sits on 17 inch, 11 spoke alloy wheels and is 2 seconds quicker to 60mph then the current, 100bhp Fiesta models so reckon on an 8.5 second 0 to 60mph dash.
