TWO men face charges of endangering an aircraft and assault after an air hostess was attacked on an easyJet flight.

They were on a flight from Belfast to Liverpool on Friday when they became obstructive and assaulted a cabin crew member, said a police spokesman yesterday.

He added: "The pilot radioed ahead for help and the pair were arrested when the plane landed at John Lennon Airport."

The men, aged 31 and 32 from Londonderry, Northern Ireland, were kept in police cells overnight and were being questioned yesterday.
