GRANDFATHER Peter Tomkins is launching a new career as a teacher - at the age of 73.
He has gained a BSc from the Open University and will teach A- level electronics.
Peter, of Beech Hill, near Reading, Berks, studied at night to become a chartered engineer after leaving school in 1948.
