Mad hair day

I look so young, and look at that hair! This was taken at the premiere of Casper back in 1995. I either slept with it in rags the night before or it's a hairpiece. The children have loved films from a young age. Here, Betty is about four and Harvey must be one. My granddad - their great-granddad - bought them the cute little kilts. He died a few years ago and we all miss him like mad. Our youngest child, Honey, still talks to him in spirit. Whether it's genuinely taking place or is just taking place in her head, I don't mind, because she finds it so comforting.

Crime doesn't pay

Jonathan and I were on the Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? charity special. We were doing really well - I think we got to pounds 16,000 - then there was a question about Coronation Street. The question was, 'How many episodes have there been?' I didn't have a clue, but there was a group of women in the audience behind us whispering, 'B, it's B' - so I thought I'd cheat and said, 'It has to be B.' It turned out they were wrong. I had to laugh when the court case came up with Major Ingram and the coughing. He claimed you couldn't hear what anyone was saying in the audience - not true. I felt bad because Jonathan and I were supporting Tommy's, the baby charity. Luckily they were very nice when we came crawling back with just pounds 1,000.

Male escort

This is me and Frank Skinner at an after-show party for the The Lord Of The Rings premiere in 2001. Frank is a lovely guy - very sweet - and he very kindly offered to be my escort for the night as Jonathan was filming for Film 2001. The three of us met up later that night and all agreed the film was great - I'm a big fan of The Lord of The Rings trilogy.

We're with the band

I'm with the crew from the latest series of Jane Goldman Investigates, we're on the Utah state line. So many people thought we were a rock band as we travelled around the US that when I saw this picture, I thought, 'Well, this could be our album cover!'

My fab family

I think this is the last premiere we went to as a family - School Of Rock in January. The cameras have begun to freak Honey out, so we try to give them a miss now. My kids are brilliant - they really make me laugh - but sometimes I look at Betty and think, 'Who's this young woman?' I can't believe she's 13. It's great though. We're the same size, so we shop together. I'm 34, but Betty still always steals my clothes. I'm not precious about it though - I have the odd root through her stuff too.

Busting out all over the place

Ah, we're just about to go in and celebrate Jonathan's 40th birthday at a fancy dress party we held in 2000. The theme was 'Super Heroes and Super Villains'. We both love comics and cartoon characters, and that influences the way we dress, but it was great to really go over the top. I'm wearing Vivienne Westwood shoes and a corset - put anyone in a corset and they'll get a killer cleavage like this. The boobs are real, unlike the hair and nails, but with hair this colour I could only have been Poison Ivy. Jonathan was Captain Marvel - I hope that's right, he'll kill me if I'm wrong! Our friend Emily, pictured with us, is Sheena, Queen of The Jungle.

A family affair

We had this picture taken for the 60th birthday of Jonathan's mum, Martha. She's a regular extra on EastEnders, and she is lovely, a great mum-in-law. Our families get on really well and there are loads of cousins - 15, I think - and they're all about the same age as us, so we have some fabulous parties. We recently went to Jonathan's brother Paul's second wedding, which was brilliant.

Life is a roller coaster

Jonathan, the kids and I have enormous fun together and we love theme parks. This picture was taken in Orlando, Florida, in 1999. But we love UK theme parks too. Each year we book a themed room at the Alton Towers hotel. For a few years we booked and couldn't make it, so someone was lucky to get a cancellation as they are so hard to get into. But this year we finally made it to The Chocolate Room, which was brilliant.
